Pio, I need more recs like the Merry Edwards, especially her Chardonnay if you have had it -- it is the only Chardonnay that I truly love -- big, sunflowery, strawlike sunshine.

And, only two weeks left? I thought your current gig was a relatively new gig?

Try https://www.marimarestate.com/ I heard about them from the folks in the ME tasting room that said this is what they all drink when the ME Chards are sold out.

New gig is only 1.5 years but something more attractive came along so another change. I've decided I need to job hop every 1.5-2 years for the remainder of my working years. ;)

Case of Harvey and Harriet delivered this fall for $360. Does not suck.

Where?

Also, are you in the club? This is awful tempting...

I dropped Eric's clubs as he was doing severe hostage wines and I hate that ****. That Dennerprise looks good though and I know Eric likes to make his wines even more fruit forward and young drinking.

****, can't wait until November to rock Paso again.

Where is on the MFN page.

local store started doing this recently
They had a 6 pack that was basically 1.2K to get a bottle of Charles Lachaux Aloxe-Corton 1er. The other 5 bottles were good producers but you know the anchor is the Lachaux. I guess gavel price on the one bottle is probably over 1.2k anyway so it’s probably a deal in some sense

Hitting the sauce tonight? On the "Shop Wines" page under "Wine Club only".

Upon further reflection, only Booker is doing hostage wines, MFN is not...I guess that's why I joined.

I've seen this for bourbon lately - can only get certain allocated bourbons if you buy others from the same range, or spend $x amount.

I kind of understand the logic for this type of rule when you get people hunting out rare bottles. Using the bourbon example, a store needs to sell X cases of Buffalo Trace to get a whiff of some BTAC or Pappy.
