Just an excellent wine. No bricking, still nice fruit, definite graphite/pencil lead. Tannins were smooth and integrated, lots of subtle notes like aged leather, dark fruits, baking spice from the oak. Had it with some sous vide then pan crusted ribeyes.

I reverted to form tonight and had a Kosta Browne, 2013, Keefer Ranch.

Produttori Nebbiolo Langhe today. According to the winemaker, 2015 and 2016 have the same fruit as the Barbaresco, for about half the price (stainless vs botti, but still)

I had a Gaja Sorì Tildìn last weekend from a friend's cellar. It was incredible.
