Does Beams Japan refuse to work with proxies? Wasn't able to add something via ZenMarket, saying it was blocked. What do you guys use?

Not 100% sure, but the label was re-branded from TS to ts(s) in 2009, which leads me to believe this piece is likely from 2008 or earlier.

Hi friends!

SS21 has been landing at Japanese retailers: Ts(s) Store, Beams, Digital Mountain. North American stockists should begin receiving their buys late February / early March. I'll post up my impressions when Jack Straw receives their shipment!

In the meantime, really digging the madras, but I think the knit cardigan has already won my heart:

Lastly, here's a few sneak peaks at FW21 from Takuji's instagram:

Hi folks,

SS21 has been wonderful, picked up a few things and wanted to share my thoughts. Also, contemplating doing a Brand Overview and posting on Youtube, but not sure if it's worth the effort. Anyone interested in that? Let me know.

Olive Hand Dyed Cardigan: The colors are great in person. I went TTS (S), but wish I would have grabbed a M for a much slouchier look like the female model in the SS21 lookbook. Also, the care instructions say hand wash only, which is true because it shrunk most noticeably in the placket after a machine wash. Oops.

Gingham Plaid Slik Baggy Shirt: This one took me by surprise. It looks kinda boring online, but after seeing it in person, it has this subtle silk shimmer that makes it really neat. The fit is boxy and flowy, which is really nice for summer. I went TTS (1) and it fits how I like. I think I could have easily grabbed a Size 2, though and it would still look good.

Unpaired Cotton Rib Socks: These are just fun. The colors are bold, but they don't seem so wild once you have them on. I currently have the Yellow and Pink, debating the Purple and Royal Blue. One complaint, the care instructions say Hand Wash and after my recent experience with the Cardigan, I will heed that advice. Quite tedious to have hand wash socks though, but perhaps I'm just lazy.

There's quite a few pieces I still have my eye on:
Cutwork Patch Jacket - it's just a really cool piece in person. Similar to the socks (or many Ts(s) pieces), it's much more wearable than it appears online. I definitely didn't appreciate it until seeing it, now I keep debating how to justify it.

Color Block T-shirts: These are perfect for simple summer outfits. Visually interesting, nice drape and fit. Eyeing a few different colors, but particularly Lavender.

Retro Flower Print Shirt: Honestly, if my closet wasn't already bursting with playful printed short sleeve shirts, this would be next up. Somebody please snatch up the Size 1..

Lastly, here's a stockist list for SS21:

Cheers,

Unfortunately I think No Man, SSENSE, and Antonina were the stores that picked this up and they're all sold out in Size 4. Maybe post in the No Man trading thread on here and see if whoever bought their Size 4 is willing to part with it. Also keep an eye out at SSENSE.. not sure when there's sold but they often get returns.
