Anyone ever sell anything to someone/some business of importance? Went to print a shipping label for an Etro shirt I recently sold and it was some high and mighty law firm based in NY. I was like, oh, that's pretty sweet.

Found this yesterday at a Ragstock type of store of all places. They had the ****** split up too, took it to the register and asked for a discount, since it was obviously a suit. To my surprise, they actually knocked a bunch off the price! I walked out of there with a big smile on my face. Can't find much about the house or the customer and it's my first time finding a full Savile Row suit! :slayer: :slayer: It's really a thing of beauty, made in 1971, so right at the cusp of the end of the 60's mod style and the beginning of the 70's disco era. Shoulder and lapel line are especially beautiful. Just a really neat find.

thanks dude.

what model is that Arc - doesn't look warm.

i am in need of something both waterproof (somewhat) AND warm. not a tough thing to find unless spending $600+ (Canada Goose, etc.).

thanks @Nataku and @matty long legs too!

I think his posting that was more of a humblebrag. Veilance anything is 1.5x the cost of mainline Arcteryx, so the swag factor keeps him warmer than normal. If you want to go crazy and search for a grail, here ya go:

Found a Belvest orphan yesterday. Sport coats are $5.99. Found the pants in the pants aisle. Pants are $3.99. I told the lady at the register that I found them separately, but it's definitely a suit so I should get the suit price. Every other Goodwill in the area would do 7.99 for the suit, but I was just outside of the Columbus circle of Goodwills and I didn't realize that the suit price there was $12.99, which the lady didn't hesitate to charge me.

I had the same thing happen to me in Atlanta. The jacket and pants sold separate came to $10. However, a suit sells for $13.99. I explained to her that I had to explore the pants rack for over 30 minutes to match the pants with the jacket. She politely told me that I should have bought the jacket. THEN, looked for the pants. How do you argue with that?

Same thing happened to me in NYC except the guy at the counter was nice and said, "I don't think it's a suit, I'll charge them separately." Bee nice to store employees!

Goodwill here is the only place that has a set price for all items. Since suits are only are only $1 cheaper that buying separately so it's not even worth the time. Without fail, it confuses the cashier, they have to get a manager, re-tag it and add 10 minutes to my trip.

Unfamiliar with Carolina Herrera. Paid $4.99 for it.

Very well known for women's stuff, I think the menswear stuff they have is all bought as gifts while the women are in the store.
