Nordstrom rack find sub $100 my size

gonna be a tough decision to make in the near future. I bought a pair Red Wing Iron Rangers in my size for $150 shipped. I probably shouldn't keep both but it's crossed my mind...
Are those Wolverines? They look good on you (esp. for the price!) and although I love my Red Wings (875s w/ lug soles and Beckman moc toe) I've never been a fan of the Iron Rangers. I think you've gotta pick yer spots with the RW Heritage stuff - a lot of the ones I've seen have canvas lining the toe box instead of leather...

Oh my bad, I should have said what they were! Frye roughouts with a really comfortable crepe sole. Definitely keepers.

I guess I'll have to see about the IR's when they get in. Might have to justify both :D

Had a pretty ****** start to the day, when I found a giant crack in my windshield. Then decided to go thrifting with both an awesome stop and a ****** stop.

First the good: (Everything is available btw)

5x Canali shirts

3x Brioni shirts

Corneliani and Armani

Zegna, Borreli, and Thomas Pink

Brooks Brothers wool/cashmere blent

Canali pants

Zegna

Paul Smith and Charles Tyrwhitt

Charles Tyrwhitt and Etro

Versace and Ferragamo

Brooks Brothers belt

And then the end:
So I was at a thrift store, about to pay, when alas, I notice a Loro Piana quilted vest behind the counter. I ask if on hold for someone. They reply "Probably since its back here right?." So they have no idea whose it is. So I ask if they could find out if its for hold or not, because if not, then I will gladly pay their price. So a lady goes around asking, and no one claims the vest. At this point, I reiterate that I will physically buy it right there on the spot. I was then told to leave the store and buy the two items that I had on me or leave with nothing. I was neither confrontational nor rude to them.

Needless to say, this was a very frustrating end to the day.

Some stuff (sorry for the 90 degrees):

Summer accoutrements:

Trafalgar, not leather but waxed cotton I think. Nice, casual, easy.

J Crew, made in USA.

Allen Edmonds calfskin. Nice!

Got these bad boys back from barrel via snoogz (thanks again!). 1870-something LVC pantaloons.

This is what they'll look like in a year. Me gusto mucho.

LVC 1912 (?) overalls. Charmingly constructed of 9oz denim. Basically true thrift - I should've bought them all when I had the chance. Comfort city!

Levi's shooting jacket. Not really a thrift but barrel encouraged me to share - this is like 18oz denim, very very dark indigo selvedge, with a shoulder saver sleeve at the shoulder and what I think are shell pockets. Flannel lined. This is from a couple of seasons ago and is like the last interesting thing that mainline Levi's has produced imo...

Back to thrifts...

Patagonia fleece. A little chipped but adds to the charm.

Faconnable hemp-and-cotton safari jacket.

Vintage BB Scottish lambswool, made in USA. Heathered rose! A couple of stable runs right at the hem, will have to perform surgery, but well worth it. Nicest bb sweater I've come across.

PRL tennis/cricket sweater. Wool. Minty!

PRL wool/mohair/acrylic brioche rib sweater. Raglan!

I see stuff like this from time to time. This isn't a pull, it's a ****-up in the original knitting. Not a big deal, but...

****. Did not see this when I copped, so maybe will perform surgery here... I dunno...

A man with a plant.

Sometimes the little finds not worth $ are the coolest. Love this cheapie yellow planter from 1975:

Wow, that sold price.

Barrel and thrift Vader, what is this?

Ok im not either but - mister freedom has a lot of clothing produced by sugar cane, i dont know the specifics but i think sugar cane gets around 75% of it for japanese retail. Mostly limited edition fabrics in one off runs so its incredibly hard to find specific pieces - this was part of the speed safe / naval collection, these things look insane broken in
1000

I've only found mister freedom once, big surprise - when I was visiting my sister in LA
