Youdabest

Haven't forgotten about that polo, I'll mail it to you eventually.

Actually I lied about that being my only celebrity clothing. Found five of Antonio Harvey's suits.

I dont really know who that is, this isnt a knock on you but on me. He sounds like some kind of lawyer or something...

Couple stores after work myself...some ok pickups...some bizarre, and one non clothing find that I thought I would never find in a thrift.

couple nice Alden loafers - should clean up nicely

Saw these at the Goodwill in Redlands today and decided to pass because I didn't want to do the work of cleaning and flipping. I'm glad a fellow SF'er got to them!

Cheers! Mine is around a 40R, yours?

AHA! I had the same one in a size 44.
Also, I came close to buying this old suit. I guess a lot of Pac NW businessmen travel to Hong Kong, so I find stuff from HK tailors in the thrifts all the time. This 1970s suit has a crazy high waist, but I actually kind of liked the look - I just couldn't pull the trigger. Thoughts? Would any of you rock it?

Hey GMMcL, could you share a shot of the Gianni label? Curious if its a line by Gianni Campagna, or totally unrelated.

I picked up a Gianni tie on clearance at TJ Maxx a couple years ago. Great design/material and like GMMcL said very well made. I'd be curious to find out more as well.

I so desperately want to send 330ck the entire contents of my Paypal account in exchange for bowties... but my wife would kill me if I blew our vacation fund.

Hit up a Marshall's I hadn't been to before down in OC. They had some good stuff here and there. Then I find the rack with Kiton and Brioni. My head a-splode.

They had a $7800 Kiton 90% cashmere suit, navy blue w/slight pattern for $1200, and Brioni sport coats for $999 that were sex on a hangar.

And this size 60 (so close!) Canali that I would have worn the **** out of had it been 1- slightly bigger and 2- more affordable (I think they wanted... I don't remember. Way too much for me.)

Also had a XXL Rag & Bone denim jacket for a hundo I didn't know I needed. Looked like a halter top on me.
Shoe section equally nuts. Ferragamo boat shoes, NIB Tod's, really nice Gravati's. Most Marshall's shoe areas I've checked out have 0 pairs with actual leather soles, this store must be where they all went. Clearance shoes included MF'ing Florsheim Duckie Browns in blue, and a few in tan. All waaaay too small sadly. Worst part? $69 a pair.

Sounds like a great Marshall's. My "best" find in terms of blazers/suits at my TJ Maxx/Marshall's is a Z Zegna they wanted $399 for. That canali is sick as ****.

So I just lost out on this big lot of Engineered Garments NWOT shirts/jacket/shorts/vest/hoody/windbreaker. I was still a little iffy on it being shipped from Russia, but I've only had one experience with shipping there, and it went fine. What do people think? The combination of stock photos plus the low rating count really put me off. On the other hand, there was easily over $1K of merch there.

Also, would I have had to have paid import fees? How does that work? I'm uneducated in that sense.
