So I went to the post office this morning and asked if international priority was tracked and they told me "no. express is the new priority." I don't know what that's exactly supposed to mean, but $54 later my package with a declared value of $50 had tracking :(

I constantly find shoes sizes 12-14, mostly wingtips.

Really?

eBay store bookmarked.

EDIT: I posted that before seeing the other posts of people who find 12s. If anyone finds AE Park or Fifth Aves medium or wide width (or similarly shaped/qualitied shoes), I'd definitely be interested. However I am in Toronto and I know international shipping blows. Still, what an awesome group this is!

USPS tracking has gone to crap. Very little information available, scans are inconstant or missing, time lags are excessive, etc. Have you noticed that Priority is less that Parcel Post a lot of the time? Why does the USPS still piss away $$$ on Saturday delivery when they lack the basic technology that FedEx, DHL, & UPS had 10 years ago? The requirement by eBay to track international packages is excessive. Those packages are never lost because of the duty and customs taxes associated with them. DHL does a great job with international packages.

I had some nice shirts picked out (Brioni, Trywhitt, Talbott) but they must have shrunk because none fit me despite being labeled my size. Sad day.
hmm when I see the words "too small" or "shrunk" my ear perk up...what size are you to start with? I'd never leave a good Brioni shirt on the rack no matter the size. Someone here will want to trade you something for it

In other news, does anybody ever find size 12 shoes at thrifts? Every store I go to seems to only go to 11, which is fine or Spinal Tap but not for footwear options.

I found some size 12 shoes today, Florsheim-level or something like that. The backs, unfortunately, were starting to tear and shred. Also a size 14 shoe there today.

And for my own find, this Turnbull and Asser tie. I thought it was kind of remarkable that something like this would end up in mid-Missouri

As close as I'm getting to a thrift pick right now.

Suit - Not thrifted but a lot less then retail. Brooks Brothers Solid Gray Fitzgerald 36S
Tie - Stefano Ricci Thrifted
Pocket Square - Thrifted
Shirt - Modern Tailor (they dont make French Cuff shirts that fit me OTR) - sleeves are still little on the short side.
Shoes - cant see, but they are ebay kops - Allen Edmonds
