Hit a few places today. Pop on Stone Island, and gotta love $3 eskandar. Reunited the pants with the Brioni jacket as well.

And a tumi expandable briefcase for $5? What the hell...

PLUS... not pictured is a sweet speckled gray AranSweater with rolled collar that is currently hugging my body.

Went a bit further afield today and happened on an absolutely colossal antiques market that took about several hours for me to comb through. Had a few good finds, and a lot of fun.

This bottle of Farina cologne is colossal; my estimate is one litre. I've dated it to the late 50s but it still smells quite OK. I've seen a 100ml bottle of this sold on Etsy for almost 5 times what I paid for this, so it easily falls into the < 10% category.

Never going to leave vintage Dior behind, even though I had to pay more than op shop prices for this. Third generation of this classic, probably late 60s.

Question. Is this the Aspesi I'm looking for? Pop if it is.

Finally, a bit of fun (didn't buy). I have a strange feeling that this might have once belonged to an Aussie SF member. (Since been corrected by the Aussies thread denizens).

Found this in an antique shop of all places.
Brioni Navy 100% cashmere overcoat, for Harrods of London.

Really large, 50 chest, so will be going on eBay.

And then on the way home I picked up a pair of Crockett & Jones for the now defunct Gordon Scott of New Bond Street.
They are my size but I haven't tried them on yet. Could be an eBay thing.
Those purple laces have got to go though.

I just did my first test run "upscale" consignment drop off. They literally looked at a treasure trove of CM items (current Brioni, Zegna, AE, Alden) and told me they only take "couture". I looked at the "couture" list and it was like Ann Taylor Loft and Tommy Bahama. As much as I'd like to drop off certain backstock, it just ain't happening in this area. Y'all have this problem?

Sounds like the Platos Closet around here.
