The CX has crazy suspension. Saved the French presidents life once

Edit: oh wait that was the DS

Also aren't those Sambas?

I think most Citroen had the hydropneumatic suspension.

The Mercedes 600 had a crazy hydraulic system that operated everything from the windows, the seats, to the trunk lid.

The Poljot is a bit smaller then I'm used to so I put it on a nice chunky vintage presidential to give it some heft.
Looks damn good of you ask me.
Btw these movements are incredible for the money, spot on time keeping.

Been absent for a while. But, still monitor the thread. For those of you who don't know (myself included), there is actually a market for teddy bears. While scrolling through an estate sale listing last week, I noticed a couple of collectable Steiff Ralph Lauren-themed bears. I bought them for $25 each. They had other Steiff bears. But, the prices seemed high. Anyway, I went back on the last day of the sale. The family just wanted to get rid of any evidence of their mother's hoarding. So, I picked up 61 Steiff bears (with numbered COAs) for a PPU of <$7.

Could someone enlighten me as to why these are listed on eBay for hundreds of dollars? I guess this is just something else I need to keep an eye out for while thrifting.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
