This '80s lounger is probably the closest I'll ever get to the Eames white-whale, but can't complain for $29

If you didn't already know, if you find yourself picking up older HiFi gear these 2 cans are your best friends

Thanks for the tip. Have heard of deoxit but never tried it. Looks like I should grab a can or two... Apparently these buttons are notorious for a little corrosion and indeed, one of them is already a tad bit scratchy already. Mechanical motion not enough...

I can totally see vintage audio becoming my latest hobby rabbit hole.

Thrift finds are all over the place these days, seems to be a lot more traffic the past few months so quantity has definitely been reduced significantly. Bad weather in my area this week so just a couple quick stops.

Sid Vicious orphan but looks good as a sport coat.

Vintage women’s Made In Italy Benetton, really nice quality. I love finding vintage sweaters, quality is so much better than most everything new.

I can’t stop myself from picking up cool ties even though I have a box of probably 250-300 high end ties I need to sell. Holland & Holland, would love one of their shotguns, lol.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
