Bean boots are essential for pouring rain. I hate wet feet!
my last clutch of quality ties, a buck a piece from a local church thrift. Funnily enough, after a closer inspection i think only the middle hermes is legit!
You can get shearling or felt insoles that help a ton.Man I've tried Bean boots so may times and they just aren't for me. I don't know if they don't have enough "structure" to them or what. When I had a pair I always gravitated to a more solid boot. My feet get cold easily though so that might have something to do with it.

I've had the shearling version. Still not enough. You can get shearling or felt insoles that help a ton.

Silk, valore, whatever it takes to make me look like a king.In valore right?
This was years ago. I've tried out pretty much every style of boot you could think of through thrifting. I mostly wear military Danners and MIE Docs now (which despite being unlined, keep my feet warm for some reason), but I've got all kinds in the collection. RRL, Wesco, Polo, Chippewa, Redwing, Timberland, milsurp, Vasque, etc, etc ...Sounds like you need proper hunting boots or mukluks.
