Not sure if I ever posted this one. Found it over a year ago and have yet to wear it. Midnight navy houndstooth. 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠 Fits like a mfing glove too.

Quick follow up from me. I posted this on the Fake or Real thread last night but there may be more traction here. Hopefully ok to ask here as it's an ethrift question, though the listing has ended now. However I'd still like to ask for my own knowledge in the future from any Ralph Lauren connoisseurs.

Found these shoes online on a listing I had my eye on for some suede penny loafers and am having trouble placing them. They were described as Ralph Lauren Purple Label Chalmers but a Google of those shows a different shoe with some additional stitching on the side.

Also conscious of the block writing inside and cursive on the bottom which I've not seen before but my knowledge is limited. Any idea what these are, if they aren't actually Chalmers?

The seller looks to be reputable with a lot of positive feedback and the shoes themselves look well made from what I can see but I don't profess to being an expert!

I have seen this on shoes that I have owned several times. Yes, there is sometimes a difference between the heelpad script and the outsole script on RLPL shoes. These are legit RLPL shoes, but I don't know the model name.

We were talking a week or two back about the Zero Halliburton cases, and whether those who buy them use them as actual luggage. Posted the one I showed y'all and it went out pretty fast for a decent number, as they all do . . .

I had a few conversations with interested buyers, and it seems they sell mostly to people who use them for photography equipment, and also this . . . Bitchin' . . .

Tried to keep it interesting, you don't know how much fodder you have until you think about posting it, and you're just like... yeah, nobody wants to see that.

Not exactly a thrift find.... but at $0 from FB, not a bad score! Nice big cuts of full grain leather, hand burnished, solid USA build. Just needs a little leather care cream and off to the races. Or naps.

X-posted from homeowners thread w @PhilKenSebben @Michigan Planner . Good times.

(I didn't get any w/ cushion pics, oh well, you get the idea.)
