Congrats, @Purplelabel! Wishing you all the best!
Thankfully my wife is pretty picky on clothing, and she doesn’t really care about labels vs style. She mostly buys from Target, Old Navy, clearance racks at Ann Taylor, Loft, etc. With that said, she has claimed more than a few Lulu pieces over the years. I recall when Lululemon just appeared on the scene and we were walking around the Mall of America (this must have been 2010-ish). We saw the brand new Lulu store. At that time, nobody had really heard about it. We walked in and were floored at how someone would pay $80+ for a pair of exercise pants. A couple months later, I found a pair of pants with that familiar logo at the thrift store. I bought them, knowing how expensive they were new. Got home and looked them up on the computer (didn't have a smart phone) and was blown away that these were selling for near retail (they really held their value resale wise for 4-5 years at least). I folded them and walked away to do something or another. Later that day, I heard my wife from the other room "Honey, did you buy these for me? They're super comfortable!". She still has that pair to this day.
Does anyone else's partners/wives/girlfriends just go into your inventory/listing room or office and shop your racks? I swear she comes up here like twice a week and checks things out.. She just peeled a nice TNF 600 fill goosedown parka off of me last night..
