The only time I’ve ever (and likely will ever) found Carol Christian Poell I literally ran over the boots with my cart.

So in addition to “always check the womens section” I guess uhhh always check the floor?

Who's feet were they on?

I found a minty Singer Featherweight sewing machine under a rack one time when I accidentally kicked it with my size 13s. $20 out the door and made my wifes day.

I'll throw a "items found on the floor" story in:

Years ago when my Dad, Brother and I started thrifting together we knew of brands like Zegna, Brioni, etc but we were just starting out and hadn't found a ton of stuff like that.

It was on a day where I was not with them, but my Bro and Dad went to a thrift store and my brother saw a nice looking plaid sport coat on the floor beneath a jacket rack in the dust. He picked it up and it was made by some brand called "Kiton" that I don't think any of us had heard of before. It was purchased and later i think we discovered its' value and further researched the brand, etc and that led to many rabbit holes of research.

Probably 11 years ago. I remember thinking the big red dot on the Kiton label above the i looked kinda odd, like it was a 7-Up logo or something lol.

I ended up selling that one for $416 long ago... I've found a Kiton 180s striped suit jacket, shirts, ties.. but still have not properly popped Kiton tailoring like that sport coat or a suit.
