There is some flaking/damage on the inner top toe area of these chukkas. It almost feels like brittle paper that is flaking off but I am not sure what it is. It kind of feels like there is a cardboard or other insert over the top toe area that is disintegrating. Does anyone have any ideas?

My guess is that they are unlined at the front and the flakes are from the (exposed) toe stiffener, or maybe a protective layer.

Watch out on those FOG Essentials items. Lot of fakes going around.

Couple months ago I found a sweatshirt.. almost bought it without researching. Luckily I looked it up and found some inconsistencies and put it back on the rack. Like 20 seconds passed by before I saw some hype kid with it over his shoulder... Poor bastard.

Found a couple cool things recently

Now I gotta ask: are these shell, and if they are, are they worth picking up to sell? you can see the lining is pretty worn, and the soles are too. thought the creases looked promising but i've never seen shell in person, if someone could enlighten me i'd greatly appreciate it. they're size 8.5 iirc in case anybody happens to be looking for something like this.

So I found these today at a 2nd hand clothing shop..got them for $89...excited as they were marked my size but 11.5 not 13. Basically brand new NOS marked Made in USA but can't find a brand anywhere..anyone have a guess as to the brand? No markings just Made in USA and the size..footbed is a soft white leather that wraps around the foot...pretty sure Russell Moccasin were always well branded..🤷‍♂️
