Guess the maker .
Hint it's a really odd pairing.

Two lucky finds. Can anyone give me some info on the coat? Not familiar with Burberry’s lineup, and curious what the model is.

Also found some boots. Thought I hated wedge soles, but I I really like these when they’re beat up. View attachment 2037141
That's just a regular classic Burberry trench. Amazing coat, I've got the same one. Does yours have the throat latch?
Holy shnikes @Nataku thats insane!

Also incredible stuff last few pages fellas.

Shout out to @eazye for a great crossbody bag for a euro vacation, seen here getting drunk in Venice

Edited, as I didn't see the collab remark. Bally x Courreges from the 70s.

eThrift came in today. I rarely buy ethrifts any more, but dang, at less than a Ben for this Valstar suede overcoat in my size, I had to pull the trigger. I'll probably rock it a couple times this winter then move it on. Or maybe it will stay unworn in my closet for a decade. Who knows? Unlike a lot of these "crinkly" cheap suede jackets we see all the time, the suede on this is totally buttersoft and supple. Tailoring exquisite, with impeccable piping and detailed belt loops. I expect it's older, and there's a cool little metal tag sewn on with the "Vita" logo, which I'm guessing is a long-defunct store. Minty condition, tho. Not a mark on it.

My first Kiton in a loooong time. A few bumps and bruises but I could not leave it.

Finamore and USA BBx2

Steven Alan and Marine Layer for personal. Some vintage tweed and buttonfly PRL.

It's raining Charvet. And pop on Huntsman, albeit just a tie.

This one is already in the rotation. No tags, but it is a good quality screen print.

And legend had it this only existed in memes.

My meager contributions to this thread. Ralph Lauren Polo barn coat. Probably from the 1990s? It was $7. I still have this beef with RL that even in the 1990s, they were outsourcing manufacturing. It just annoys me this "Americana garment" isn't made in USA. I'll get over it because it's still cool AF!

1950s Made in Japan Hawaiian shirt.

Oddly hard to find slim cut, made in USA 32" sleeve white dress shirts. so bought all 3 Gitmans.

Finally found some made in Maine bean boots in my size that aren't thrashed with lots of tread. Two rounds of bick 4, obenauf lp and clear venetian shoe cream. I'm now ready for the SF bay area rainy season. All I need now is a pumpkin spiced latte (bean boot joke) 😜

Question for you guys on vintage ties. What are some of the good maker brands to look for that are standard sizes in the 3-4 inch width region. I also like solid trunk knits. I wear a lot of larger pattern jackets wide lapels etc so often I need solid like ties or odd patterns that aren’t too neat.

@Nataku you always have stellar finds, but that denim haul. bro wtf.
The craziest part? These were all in the firepit about to be torched. They would be ashes had I not asked about old jeans.
that's a woman's levi's jacket, right? INSANE!

Yep! I’ve never seen one like this. Cropped and has pearl snaps. Super cool.

Went back to see if the pants for the striped Stefano Ricci jacket had come out. I lucked out.

I had a feeling there would be more from this donation. Looks like I was right.

I swear there could be a UN binding resolution to stop you thrifting and items would still find their way to you. Magical stuff!
