I never trust any of these. A good condition working copy can be had for like $60 all day long. The crazy priced ones are for ones never taken even out of the original store hard plastic, which admitted must be extremely rare but who has one of those? Tbh I always feel like these auctions are rinse jobs with one party selling to himself/a partner to try and pump the market.

I guess that's the point. Auction prices on the rarest items in pop culture.
N64 Goldeneye went for some crazy amount a few years ago.
There is also the story of the "Nintendo Playstation" (yes it does exist).
Let's not forget the Gold Cartridge that sold for north of 100k.
There must be a plethora of items with similar rarity. like the Walkman with 2 headphone jacks or rare records.
As a non-flipper, the chance to find such things is the best reason to go out and dig around. to find the rare and oddball items. because perhaps one day you'll find a gem.

Here’s some highlights of my most recent haul.

Hundreds of these posters. Lots of obscure stuff and some big names (or those who became big later on).

Another day, another pair. Case is one of those Chinese made flimsy things but the glasses are Italian goodness.

I believe the maker is Foster, a now defunct British firm that went out of business in the 90s I think. I have a pair of boots made by them (Indy style, quite nice) I picked up a couple of years ago and I remember researching the company.

Here you go:

Looks like I was off about them going out of business in the 90s. It seems like they tried to make another go of it in 2018:

Weird, because I distinctly remember reading about them being sold and shutting down for a time. Memory goes with age, I guess!

No brags in quite some time. Haven’t been out in out much and when I have Cincinnati pretty much blows. However I’m out on the East Coast for my sons lacrosse tournament. Hit a Goodwill and a Savers last night.

Will probably keep these. Left a few older label Zenga’s and the better condition ones weren’t appealing colors. Nice to see decent ties.

My size and made in the US. Been looking for one of these forever. Looks unworn.

They had this marked as is for $12.50 because of some spots. Again my size so if they don’t come out I’ll use it for yard work.

Good to know cheers John! Bloody nice shoes with great credentials. I wonder who made this pair, can’t tell if EG or CJ
