@330CK Is this your first Rimowa find? I think there's been a few members who have found it more than once which has deluded me into thinking I'll find that carry-on aaaannnyyyy day now.

nah I’ve found it a few times before. had one that was the size of danny devito for awhile, and found a set of like 5-6 in various sizes once.

All the Zegna Couture suits I've seen, not that I've seen that many, have all ben dated fabrics and 3-button. The quality is great but not great designs.

You guys are AMAZING. Thank you so much. Definitely in a little (lot) of pain today, but with the almost $7000 raised that will feed our children here in MPLS, worth every step. Can't thank you all enough, seriously. Words can't do my gratitude justice.

Your donations went even farther than I could've ever imagined. We had some donors from out of state donate directly to The Sheridan Story, but with all of the money we personally collected, our donation was a little over $7,200. Today, I got word that our donation was matched fully by a tech guy based out of SF, meaning the total the organization received was over $14,000. So thank you guys. You really have changed lives.

Had a pretty good day today.

Killer 50's Penney's crewneck with some custom artwork.

Couldn't believe this thing didn't have a single moth hole.

IMG_9539.jpg

Handful of vintage women's side-zip denim jeans. One deadstock, the others with some great patina.

Absolutely thrashed 50's work shirt

40's? Back when Van Heusen was the good stuff. Side gussets and mother of pearl buttons. Really nice shirt.

Wish I could make out the label on this one.

Second pair I've found this year.

Old Lee denim overall straps. Sadly no sign of the overalls.

Some vintage women's boots. Wish they had some sort of maker's mark.

Berluti moccasins. Not $6.99 thrift, but sub-4% rule, so gobs of meat in the package (TWSS). The quality of these is absolutely outstanding for a casual loafer. Love that patinated suede, and the stitching details are off the charts. Sole has some scritto reading as follows: "Le Loup de Berluti", aka The Wolf of Berluti. I'll tell ya what: these folks live in a different world from the rest of us. They probably drive Bugatti Chirons. From Berluti:

Empreinte du Loup

Trace your path,
leave your tracks,
dance with the wolves.
Like wolves, Berluti clients love freedom and wide open spaces. They travel through cities trusting their instinct. Olga Berluti has created wild, sensual moccasins for these untameable men who travel alone or in nomadic packs.

Well, OK. Whatever you say. What a pile of crap. But somebody's buying it! I guess if you can get a handful of people to drop a couple grand on these, well, good for you.

Seriously, the shoes are ridiculously spectacular, but all that effort for a moccasin? Boggles the mind. I'll get better pix up when I photograph them for the 'Bay. Big problem, though: they're my size. What to do . . .
