closing the year out w a bang. Found an incredible deal on a legit Karl Springer lucite bench in nyc. Seller didn’t want to ship, so i flew to pick it up. Had the chance to spend some time with my aunt for the holidays and ended up also scoring this insane Fornasetti ‘Moro’ chair for well below the 10% rule. She’s missing her legs but this gives me the opportunity to get creative and really make her stand out.

I’ll be completely restoring the Springer bench, and boy do I have some plans for the restoration. Once it’s done, I’ll have the only one available for sale in the world (unless more are listed in the meantime, though unlikely) 2020 is looking bright.

Today’s find are some vintage Vuarnet sunglasses. This is my first actual pickup of glasses. Definitely am not on the level of @impuntura or @kbadgley84 LOL.

Are these desirable? I don't know much about eyewear, but I have definitely seen this brand in the thrift before. I never know if they hold value even if scraped and scuffed up.

This reversible overcoat is pretty cool

I cannot seem to get consistent, good lighting. Like, god, my photos are always crap.

Anyway a couple more things photographed so far

This Burberry tweed blouson is superb. There’s a stain in the lining below the pocket on the left-hand side but exterior seems pristine

And this new, unfinished 100% cashmere Lucy Barbie - wish it were a more current style but eh

@kbadgley84 unfortunately not! Still waiting to find something halfway decent at the thrifts. I do love Swatches and pick them up whenever I see a nice design in good condition. Then drool over what @impuntura finds on a seemingly regular basis...

@Flashbang @matty long legs - Chrysalis is the good stuff, and one of those brands that’s still good value at retail because it’s sold for what it does not because of the value attributed to a label.

I’d be up for that reversible coat but I think it would be too large for me (in case anyone else is interested - Chrysalis tends to run large so a ragged M may fit more like a L).
