PM me a pic of one of the buttons. I most likely have it.

Thanks man. It’s this button I believe

Anyone recognize this LBM tag? Is this super old or different line from LBM 1911?

Thats the higher-end label for LBM, LBM literally stands for Luigi Bianchi Mantova but LBM 1911 is the slightly cheaper diffusion label. That label in particular is a bit on the older side for them, not sure exactly what date.

Question to any of you fancy shoe thrifting/wearing mfers: I think I need to add a pair of vintage Gucci loafers to my closet. I'm not an ostentatious person nor do I want to be predictable so that means no oversized logos and no penny loafers. I'm thinking of vintage 70s era shoes in cognac, oxblood or brown and I can do suede. How do vintage Gucci loafers fit? I normally wear a 42 or a US 9.5/10 (depending on the brand)

Here are couple of shoes that caught my eye

I'm personally a big fan of the stripe horse-bit loafers or the suede single monks (although they're all fantastic choices). I've found vintage Gucci fits a bit large. I typically wear around a 42 or US 9 but that's because I have a wide foot so my actual size is 8.5 EE. My usual size in Gucci is an 8 but if you're normally a 9.5 US a Gucci 9 may fit you well

I found these a few months back (have since been sold). From memory they fit true-to-size, perhaps on the slightly narrow side

^ ^^ My own experience with vintage Gucci (~50-70 pairs) is that they are around a full size smaller than stated size and generally narrow. This is in keeping with the sense that guys were overall smaller back then, which they were.

Always interesting to hear others with different experiences. Some Gucci shoes are marked with British sizing (80s/90s I'm thinking), which is generally one size bigger, size for size. So that might explain some of it.

Trying my best to resist the urge to hit the stores and instead forcing myself to go through some of my previously found stuff. Basically the same endorphin rush when you rediscover awesome stuff previously found. Such as this lambskin jacket. Still have never found very much info on this line from Kitttton but saw a different SF thread where Kitty replied to the op and said it was a short lived line from a few years ago and was priced around 70% of the mainline Kitty stuff. Based on pricing of what I can find of their lambskin outerwear it’s usually around 7-11k…so this would’ve retailed for like $5-7k?!

Fits me currently, so may just end up keeping it until it doesn’t fit any longer. Haha.
