I believe you have a hand knotted Nain rug Persian in design origin unknown. Many new rugs of which yours appears to be are made in India.
I’m not an expert but a collector and am learning. I’d say you got a good but for $4 bucks. BF23E097-1CAF-4185-B0B6-8D6228106F1B.png

Well, last week's trip to CA was a bust, as both of my hideaway honey holes are gone. I mean, all the way gone. Closed permanently, not moved. Dang. So with no time to hunt elsewhere, came back empty-handed. This meager post is therefore just from my little local GW (which is not much larger than the typical shoe section at Savers).

A rare couple of finds here: two shirts from Soon Yee Cindy Cho's legendary Kweejibo store in Haight-Ashbury that closed in 2009. Hand made right there in Oakland. Hipster heaven . . . the one in front has a body of plusses and minuses, and the extended placket is tweed. Bonkers.

Mongo-hefty Carhartt parka. This won't last long. Weirdly, I have found in just the last few weeks of experimentation that workwear like Carhartt, Woolrich etc will attract auction bidders, especially if it's vintage. It's been a long time since I saw bidders fight over anything except grails, lol.

'Gamo ornamented wingtip loafers, minty Danskos because they instaflip, and PRL wellies, just for fun.

Armani frames. Not worth a whole lot, maybe $40, but for two bucks? Sure.

And that's it for today. Heading for Phx Wednesday, so hopefully some better kops to post when I return. Happy hunting, gang!

I flip quite a bit of Danskos also. In case you were unaware, you can look inside the shoe, on the inner wall, and usually find a style number, which consists of a nine digit number. A quick internet search will tell you the exact model name, which I find to be a valuable piece of info when listing!

And that Pendleton is ****.

A buddy of mine texted me this morning to borrow my travel gun case so I pulled it out of the attic and started cleaning it up -- and found these Filson hats that had been stuck under the foam padding for at least 10 years. Went on a pheasant hunt a few years ago and our guide had a box of random hats and said we were free to grab a couple. Camo one is tin cloth. Nothing like finding cool stuff in your own house.

I thrifted it in gray a year or two ago. You're right. Its just a shawl collar cardigan made out of some sort of sweatshirt-like cotton knit. Great piece for winter lockdown comfort. Or it would be if my wife didnt steal it all the time...

The extra buttons with the loops allow you to close the collar if you're cold but doing so makes you look like an absolute dork.
