ETON shirts...
...in my size, thanks to the previous owner who had darts put in all of them. Left a few others that were not my colour.

Also, a Holt Renfrew robe.

I love those shirts, I actually purchased the same gingham/floral blue one you got! The Contemporary line always comes with darts. If you want an even better fit, you should look at the Slim line, they go for dirt cheap on eBay nowadays!

Since buying my Cuci slim fit I'm spoiled and the next step is probably MTM. I've tried just about every brand over the years and the only other one with darts slim enough was a pair of silk Zilli's I picked up a few years ago, which is even more expensive than Cuci. Admittedly I've yet to try Eton slim...

Interesting, isn't it, how autocorrect ALWAYS corrects in the direction of smut, never the other way around, even when the words it corrects to are often a stretch from what was typed. I remain convinced that there's some hidden basement at Apple HQ where teams of barely pubescent coders sit, gobbling down edibles, guffawing with laughter, and screwing with autocorrect so it always ends up delivering camel toes etc. The autocorrect fail sites are my go-to when trying to avoid backlog . . . Of course, such fails predate iPhones . . .

Agreed on dress shirts. My buttoned shirt collection is relatively small and not very exciting. I've seen many charvet, borelli, Turnbull and asser, Henry Poole, etc. Shirts that are technically my size but they are at the thrifts because they are baggy ass traditional cuts. I mean you can use them as a base to get tailored... Or just buy the many dirt cheap Tyrwhitt super slims that look nearly perfect as is.

It does pain me to wear a commoner shirt with classic menswear... But wearing **** that doesn't fit right merely for the label is stupid imho.

There's at least one dude here that's worn a thrifted Ben Sherman suit because the fit on those damn things is ****.

Since buying my Cuci slim fit I'm spoiled and the next step is probably MTM. I've tried just about every brand over the years and the only other one with darts slim enough was a pair of silk Zilli's I picked up a few years ago, which is even more expensive than Cuci. Ethrift. grail to me. well under 5%. all I need to do is take in the waist in coat and pants about an inch each, fix a bit of fraying that’s no big deal... feels like wearing air....

if someone on this thread sold this to me, THANK YOU. Seems like it’s stolen from Sean Connery (RIP- the GOAT) circa “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” ... But totally timeless and ready to wear as soon as we can gather in large groups...

I’ve got another suit coming that’s even better, if that’s possible. I don’t want to jinx it before it areives, but it looks magnificent...

Not sure what started happening online in last couple of weeks, but I am not complaining.

Not really thrifting related, but there’s an artist in Spain who has been doing some cool appropriationism works taking older canvas prints of famous works and re-working them with Polo Sport pieces (his other non-Polo works are also beautiful). He was just featured in the Polo App as well. His name is Manuel Cruz and he’s currently showing at the Kreisler Gallery in Madrid.

The piece I ordered just arrived from Spain today!

and then here are a few of his other pieces:
