Funny you say that. I have a weird sense for Polo. I can be walking down the aisles at the thrift, scanning visually and there's just something about Polo that puts out a vibe or something because I usually know its 'Lo before I even touch it, even if the signs aren't overt. I don't have this sense with any other brand. Also, the items that my eye is naturally drawn to end up being 'Lo a lot of the time.

I've had a similar thing happen, several times now. I've walked into a store and thought "Wouldn't it be nice to find some cashmere in my size?" or "I feel like I might find some Paul Smith stuff tonight," and then bam! It's eerie...

ties are first. That tells me if theres other fruit on the trees.

Quality ties means the suit rack is dry. I can never score in all categories in the same store.

I struggle to understand why anyone thinks there should be any rhyme or reason to which section of the store will or will not deliver.

I check things in whatever order gets me through the shop quickest, starting with whatever is at the back.

I typically start up front then work my way to the back, then wrap around and head to the front. Easy to do that in our stores here out on the island

pretty dry for me this week. hit it pretty hard towards the latter half and manage to salvage some serviceable scraps. felt like i was in someones trails a bunch of times. actually was with one particular store when i went in and saw @concealed with a bunch of goodies finishing up. also, apologize for not consolidating some itmes like i usually do. ended up putting up listings before taking prelim photos this week.

ppu: ~$6.70

orvis upland vintage field coat / hunting jacket. pretty cool

my last pair of graysons (shell to boot) took forever to sell but couldn't pass up $15 for NWOB

limited edition trafalgar. anybody got the name to this one?

this was cool. deadstock NWT champion reverse weave with a 1994 super bowl patch. really wish the patch wasn't there lol. the tag shaped like a sweater is pretty cool

what are you guys pricing untuckit's at? the four i've found i've listed at $60 OBO and have sold for $50+ within a couple days. is that too low?

suitsupply egyptian cotton

miUSA board shirt in nice colors

wonder how many more of these i'll find in the next couple months. on field matt ryan jersey for $3

Salmon RG cotton blazer. when i grabbed it i assumed the lining on this thing was different ways of folding a pocket square. when i examined it at home it's actually how to fold a paper boat lol

some sweaters. 2x BB saxxon and 1 johnston elgin navy cashmere

has been a pleasure catching up on everybody else's finds as well. now back to sipping some bourbon and trolling the interwebs for e-thrifts

Well it appears timing plays a big role in the thrift life... made a quick stop and store was empty of goodness until these rolled out on the racks...

Does anyone here have any significant Etsy experience? Specifically, I'm wondering about the vintage market that seems to be dominated by Malaysian sellers. Their prices aren't crazy low but they are far more reasonable than their American counterparts and most items seem legit based on pictures. Anyone who has experience buying from these sellers, feel free to PM me about your experience.

I've bought a few pieces from them, minor pieces at good prices...arrived exactly as described.
