Last thrift pics of 2017. Managed to find my first LP, just a shirt though...

Is it time for 2018 thrift resolutions yet?

- Figure out how to take decent pics
- Explore things outside the realm of CM
- Buy less "crap"

Hoping to find a few more firsts in 2018 and to figure out where the damn cashmere sweaters and scarfs are hiding.

Pretty sure I know the answer... But just confirming that any double breasted and pleated suit, regardless of maker is pretty much worthless, right? Especially anything from the 90s?

I wouldn't say any ...

Double breasted has its place if you know how to wear it -

Quality is quality -

Pleats can be removed, but a lot of older stuff just has a bad shape to it; a tailor can wrangle it into the modern world and work wonders - but if they start with a fused piece of crap; you get back a fused piece of crap that's nicely tailored

I've channeled Lazarus at times if it's worth it to me -

For flipping - it's about ppu and time; there's some guy in bumfuckistan that would do a backflip for a double breasted pleaded new jack city / Nino Brown suit - but how long to find him and what wil he pay?

LSS : buy Kiton, **** CK

And this cause, got to have something to make those mix tapes on.

And yes, apparently it does Virtually Eliminate Tape Hiss:

Thrift from an estate sale, I have no idea what these cost new, but love the color ... Picture are ****, but it's a deep sapphire blue

It's that super thin lamb skin leather that feels a bit weird ... My second non purple label polo, (other was a gift from a girl).. Know nothing about this line..

Fits like it should, but I subconciously tug and adjust it, so not sure if it's a keeper..

Get my damaged black leather back tomorrow; hope its salvageable :)

Looking for something wild right now - my version of that Faith jacket or something very colorful...

Also got some brown casual polo monk straps still listed on their site...pretty much new... At the cobbler... Need to see if procreating a certain number of times is required before I can wear them...

They kind of scream "my wife bought me these shoes before the divorce because they compliment that pleated pair of Dockers she likes my pancake ass in ...", but a size 15, almost new, for $25 ... Worth a try :)

Took a shot on these - they need some love

Not sure what style the brown ones are, metal links aren't my thing ...but they are a bit snug

The boots are church, think they shrunk - Fits ok with some work, but needs to stretch a bit be comfortable.. Think an inch would do it.

Have like 20 pairs of 13+ in the "no" pile lol - wish it wasn't so hard

Nope. Quality OTR or bespoke would make this a bad rule of thumb.
