Got my shirts the other day. Definitely pleased with my decision. The red hounds tooth looks better in person. Probably more of a fall shirt. The banded chambray is great, really soft.

Knew that chambray would be a hit. Throw a pic or 10 of the red :fistbump:

I received my items as well.

Good:
Striped band collar shirt
Indigo Cardigan
Dress Shirts

Bad:
Indigo Baseball popover
Poorly presented ties (folded and not in the classic polo tie box)

I've been eyeing that indigo baseball jersey for months. If they didn't have all that writing on the back I'd probably own it. What made it bad?

RRL Strap. It's okay. Hardware is decent but highly polished which is odd for a nato.

Love those chelseas! How’d you size? I meant to try them on today at the store but didn’t get around to it.
I did pick up the striped denim coverall and railroad stripe/plaid lined work shirt. They’re both going to get a lot of wear!

Does 25.5" sound about right for sleeve length for a large? There are a couple of shirts I'd maybe pick up, but if that sleeve length is right there is no way I could get by with them. Looks like a few new items in the sale today too.

Half size down and they fit about perfect. So same size as I am in Red Wing and most Alden/Viberg boots

^It varies by shirt. See if you can find the shirt somewhere that lists the measurements, like mr porter, end clothing, stag, etc.

Sizing is unpredictable this season. I picked up the sherman plaid popover from barneys on sale and it runs a full size small. The medium in this is the same as my size small popover from 2 years ago.

In my experience, almost everyone who sells online gets the sizes wrong. I don't know why, but it seems like this task is contracted out to someone who fills in the measurements with a random number generator.

I may have just been lucky, but I have had pretty good experience with mrporter and end clothing sizing advice. I checked mrporter for the sizing on the sherman popover and that led me to reconsider getting a medium from Barneys, which worked out ok.

Sizing aside though, the most important thing for me is a hassle free return.

how do yall feel about pairing this tie with the dark indigo herringbone suit and grey suits. was going to get these for myself and groomsmen as gifts and to have some consistency across the outfits but I can't visualize what that would really look like

be advised this tie is super short vintage, it won't look like the online photo in real life. will go half way down. that said i love it.
