The denim is fan-*******-tastic. I've seen how it looks when treated/washed and the blues are unreal.

The indigo's blue-black nature, as well as the denim's smoothness, reminds me a bit of a richer version Somet. Aside from that, there really isn't much a comparison in terms of color to 5EP, Flathead, KMW, etc. It's an entirely different flavor.

I can't speak for the fit as the sample I shot wasn't my size (who doesn't sample in 32s???) but I believe the basic idea here is to stick to your "usual" size when ordering.

For $220 it's hard to compare it to other Japanese brands at the $2-300 level and not see these jeans as a bargain.

Yes, I want a pair. You would, too.

If by that you mean Payman has a body that is chiseled like a Greek god's, then yes, I have a weird-shaped body.

the 3x1 is the weft yarns to the warp yarns
the oz is denim weight
the weave is not loose but very dense.
Please read the intro on the first page.

the sample pair was a 31, it ran pretty true to size. i was lucky enough to be in store when they came in. i skew between 30-32 in pants and these suckers did not button. but they are NICE.

I was just wondering about the large-gauge yarns vs. the medium-low weight and how that works out. I'm probably just missing something. The jeans look great.

Wow, there is alot of detail to this jean. Love the look of the buttons and how the inner crotch part is seamed together. These will be hard to pass up.

Arms- I am trying to follow your questions. MWoC is using different thread gauge to play on the texture of the jean . It will give the jean a more rounded look.
I have called MWoC for a more in depth detailed answer for you.

The weight isn't low but it isn't beefy for sure. Please remember that the first levis where 10oz.
More answers to follow.
best,

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
