Yup got the Visvim bug. I think there looks are more mature and I am leaning more into looser cuts which Visvim does well. Also, I am big fan of their denim, natural dyed items, unique fabrics and artisan production processes. Check out the dissertations on Visvim's website sometime. Lots of great write-ups there.cant speak for him but looking at his posts, hes into visvim and you need all the $$$ you can find to be into that stuff
definitely interested in visvim, just been too scared to try the japanese second hand market cos of fakes. i guess i should look at just buying them retail!Yup got the Visvim bug. I have also take more of a quality over quantity approach. While Visvim is expensive, most items I have got from them are several tiers above JE in terms of quality. I had no clue Cast 2 were going for $600 now. If I use a proxy to buy Visvim at JPY retail, I can get a pair of social sculpture denim for roughly the same price. Now there are definitely items that are absurdly priced that don't justify retail, but I don't really purchase those.
Use a proxy to buy from Visvim direct at Japanese retail. Most Visvim items sold in the US are priced 30-50% higher due to import fees.definitely interested in visvim, just been too scared to try the japanese second hand market cos of fakes. i guess i should look at just buying them retail!
