All the best time to show how devoted we are to the Sty Fo cause and get dressed up!

JK, it’s a joke…. About the heat….
I’d totally be there if I could physically get there!

Would anyone in the DC area be interested in meeting Antonio Pastena of Sartoria Pastena Elegance? He’s coming to the USA in Sept. and he needs 8 or 9 appointments to justify visiting a city. Just. Straw poll at this point as I haven’t reached out to Antonio yet but if anyone would be interested me let know. If we can’t make DC work I may just see him in New York.

Last time I asked, 1800 EUR starting for 2 piece suit.
Can't do anything until 2026.

We looked at that show, but conflicts with our week in the OBX
I've heard good things about his live show.
He puts on a great show. I’ve never seen him with an orchestra though….. should be interesting

Beck might be lurking in Sty Fo…..

Terrible pic, but he’s wearing a black (or what looks to be black) DB suit with a cream silk shirt.

A slightly different tailor question for everyone — what tailors in the DMV are able to do functioning button holes for sport coat sleeves? I recently found out that Geoffrey Lewis no longer has the ability to do functioning button holes (or non-functioning button holes, with the button “hole” sewn into the sleeve but not actually opened). Kosta told me his father used to do functioning button holes but since he retired they don’t have anyone able to do it now (or a machine able to do it).

Yeah, the owner did those himself but has mostly retired.

I think the tailor at Mashburn will do them but I could be wrong. He might only do it for in-store purchases.
