@lordsuperb made res for 8:00PM at Clyde's (on M Street in G-Town) I believe. Will let him chime in...Hey guys - for those of you who will be making it to our trunk show and are interested in dinner/drinks afterwards (that's May 9), any ideas of where to go, and it would also be nice to have a head count?
I don't know any spots but if you guys guide me, I can make reservations, etc...

That sounds good to me. I don’t have much of an opinion, knowing nothing about what’s around there. I do prefer to stay not too far from our HQ at the Sonder…Yeah, I booked for Clydes given that they are reasonably priced and can hold a large party. I also didn't know everyone's price point and wanted a decent turn out. The ambiance isn't the greatest but the food is solid and can hold a large party. Can always cancel and give you a list of restaurants that may catch your eye.
Chez Billy Sud was the first choice recommended by the @professor but they can only hold a party of 6 in their bistro. They offer private dining for larger parties but they need a two week notice and would need a down payment.
La Chaumiere and La Bonne Vache are some other French bistros that caught my eye.
If you are really interested in trying some tasty bites outside of Georgetown I would recommend Lapis and Sababa Uptown.
Let me know, we are agile.

How much did you judge their attire? How many black tie faux pas did you spot??Went to Pesce north of Dupont Circle tonight for some excellent seafood and saw a bunch of people in formal attire walking around plus cops blocking off streets. Thought to myself "Jeez they're really going overboard with security for GW Law School prom." Nope it was the White House Correspondents Dinner.
