Ahh the box of despair. My wife, and thus the entire extended in-laws, live in said box. They always ask when we are moving back, and for the first few years after my wife joined me here she entertained the idea. Couple years ago we went back to visit and as we were boarding our flight back she gave me a look of disgust and said "never moving back."
Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama were always on my never go to list. Unfortunately I had to visit a client in Alabama a couple years ago. I really hope to not visit the remaining to if i can help it. Things in the box further away from the coast and bigger cities definitely can suck.

Any interest on doing a NMWA Sartoria Carrara MTM Trunk Show with Greg? An order of 5 garments is needed for him to make a trip down to the DMV.

I would be down for a sport coat.
I just replied in his thread. I could be in if CMT is an option.

I've driven to/through 49 states (hard to drive to Hawaii) and half the Canadian provinces, and DC obviously. That box? That is generally the saddest area, outside some of the smaller reservations. In my opinion.

With the exception of some of the towns. I liked Augusta, in the day I spent there. Nashville was, yknow, fun if that's what you're looking for. Atlanta I am sure has a lot of appeal to some people. Obviously I enjoyed the southern part of the Smokies. I hear good things about Asheville.

But overall, overall, a lot of sad in that box.

I would not want to retire there, no matter how far my money would take me in comparison to somewhere ... better.

Does anyone have pictures of their MTM? And what are the rates?

It's a good cut. I have their tobacco linen summer suit and it's a staple in this this climate. Greg did a lot of work with Carrara to get it right. The major features of the cut (gorge, lapels, shoulders, etc.) won't change with MTM.

Hmm I could go for a linen summer suit right about now...
