Sorry everyone to be that guy on his first post - desperately trying to legit check these.

To my eye, I think they look pretty good. Toe box has a slight point, heel tab is nice and crisp/not rounded, model number looks slightly more brassy than yellow gold and not indented, the padding around the ankle isn’t too thick.

What do you guys think? If I cop, I’ve got a couple BANGING fits to match these with! A pair of Lacoste print trousers I’ve been buzzing to wear with a pair of CPs.

The number one question is price. If someone is charging much less than 90% of the RRP for a brand new pair of shoes then ask yourself why. And of course the secondary question is at 90% of retail why not just spend the extra 10%, get them from an authorised store and cut out the worry.

Maybe it's something about the thrill of the chase that I'm missing?

Struggling a bit and looking to put my mind at ease here. Maybe a CP "Pro" can help me out.

Recently had a pair of new Achilles Lows in 42. I measure 9-9.5E on a Brannock. They fit pretty good from the start. I wore them a few times, and after breaking in they began to feel too loose. Heel was getting scraped up from slip, and the laces had to be tightened too much. It made the leather around the eyelets crunch up more than I'd like, and caused some excessive creasing when tightened. Length in the toes felt okay, maybe a touuuuch long. However, the heel slip became apparent in time and the shoe felt longer than when brand new.

I sold those and picked up a new pair in 41. I've only worn them maybe 4-5 times so far, and they fit tight. The feel a touch short in the toes, and definitely tighter on the sides. I can wear them, but they're not very comfortable yet. I was hoping that after breaking in they would fit near perfect, unlike the 42. Anyone else go through this?

Buy 42s, put an insole in.

Insole on the 42's made my feet sit a little higher than I wanted. Plus, I'm not crazy about stacking insoles. I tried that, tongue pads etc. It just never felt right.
Stick with the 42s. If you don’t like how they fit, maybe it’s not the best last for your feet

I clearly have a CP problem. I just bought the Achilles premium in grey (bottom right corner) and I haven’t even broken in the bballs and mid Achilles.
How many is too many?

Haha when you get over 20 pairs, then maybe you have issues.

God help me if I ever get to that. I am contemplating returning the premium one. They look great and purchased at a nice discount, but I question how often I will actually wear them! Hoarding is a sickness.
