Does anyone really pay retail for CP? It's pretty easy to get them well under retail, so you could hit the <400 range for Achilles, chelseas, etc.
Oh, I definitely don't. I don't mind paying that or higher for other footwear but CPs are definitely not there. I've never paid more than $250 for BNWT Achilles. I was just musing on whether people new to fashunz would really jump from <$100 Adidas/whatever to >$400 CP. And people new to fashunz are likely not savvy about the secondary market, etc.

I've not paid retail for anything in the last 15 years - not even milk.

USD250 sounds like good ol' days pricing.
Are these prices from retail hookups or from sales on some of the funkier models? I haven't seen a retailer sale price or BNIB eBay/Grailed listing for a staple color Achilles low/mid at that range in a while so seems I've been a sucker paying $300+ and would appreciate the purchase intel if it's not wildly inappropriate to ask. As someone that likes blindingly white footwear, it's getting to be about time to reup on some white lows & mids as well as some black mids, which I just haven't gotten around to.

tres bien with a discount code is probably your best bet for sub-$300

Thanks for the heads up @masshi. That's actually where I got both my most recent pair of mids and lows but their buyer only ordered lows this time around (maybe it's due to the season because I did buy mine in FW). END has hands down the broadest stock but their (shipped to the US) prices are relatively high.

I've bought on Grailed, it was NIB or 9/10 condition, off-white lows as I don't actually like the true white which is, as you say, blinding. :)

I've seen standard black, navy lows in the 250 range on eBay as well. It's really a matter of being lucky I guess. If I needed a pair quickly in a specific color I'd probably not hang around the secondary market.

Right now I'm interested in lows in the blush colorway. We'll see.

Have a pair of Achilles Mids in Black, size 44 - model 1529. I am planning to return them to the retailer, but checking interest here as I'd rather save the international shipping. $220 shipped US. If no one bites in the next day or so, they're going back. Brand new in box.

I'm sadly a 42, otherwise I'd totally bite. That said, would you mind sharing which retailer? Maybe I can replicate your awesome pricing.

Thanks man
