I like to imagine you paying retail for the The Row Brodie jacket without a second thought while constantly refreshing the page waiting for a further discount on the H&M pants.
Honestly that's often so surprising in fits like those. Very expensive designer brands mixed with fast fashion. Reminds me of that streetwear era where the meta was Supreme or off white hoodie + whatever expensive sneakers were hyped (Yeezy, Off White Nike Collab, Jordans) and then combine them with the cheapest pants currently available from Zara.

I’m particular about quality and style. I would say among the fast fashion pieces I have they tend towards relatively better quality or good enough for what it is (tee or novelty print shirt). Outside of the H&M leather jeans, I own a pair of COS leather jeans and that’s it for bottoms from fast fashion. The H&M leather jacket shown with the pants I own, nah. A random good/unique novel printed viscose shirt, maybe.

This is basically the truth lol.

Hey guys. Now that Hedi has parted from Celine I have been hit with the reality that he might or might not come back to the scene(who knows). Finally pulled the trigger with a purchase of the teddy in size 46, also have a nylon bomber on the way(size 44 because its stated as looser fit as compared to the teddy). Am considering the classic biker but will not buy if sleeve length doesn't look decent for my towering height of 5'6.

Jokes aside, I tried the teddy in 44 and 46 where both will fit and will have tolerable stacking on my arms. Picked the 46 at the end since silhoutte of the jacket looks more boxy and more flattering for my body imo

Size 44

Size 46(what I had purchased)

With some reference now, I am considering the classic biker of current iteration in size 44. Afraid the sleeves will be too long, any one who owns both this teddy jacket above and the current iteration of the classic biker could comment if the biker will or will not be shorter on the sleeves?

Im 5'7 and all my celine piece is size 44, they run 1 size smaller compare to slp.
Wearing the l17 rn, its a 42 and the celine leather jacket size 44 would fit the same
For the celine teddy size 44 fit great, but i would like if its a bit shorter as i prefer cropped look
Boxy top + skinny jeans are horrible imo especially if you are short

The teddys are boxy on the shoulder and then tapered down to the body hem. Neither are oversized and I assume that's where you are trying to get at. The length difference is negligible. Thought you would have known.

And I don't agree with you at all. At 5'6 or even 5'7, outerwear should make shoulders look wide and boxy but not exaggerately so to create an illusion of an inverted triangle. And hedi's Celine outerwear does so exceptionally well. That elongates the legs best.

Imo at a shorter height and smaller frame, going skinny top with skinny jeans looks horrible almost like watermelon on a toothpick

There’s a Wesley jean in “Cosmic Black” wash from Fall 24 that seems unavailable anywhere

Wesley jeans in Cosmic Black/vintage black wash 2N785932F.FZV3

However I’ve come across what looks like the same jeans at various spots but with a different code.

Wesley jeans in vintage black 2N785947F.38VB

Anyone have any insight on this? Is the one on various auction and third party sites legit? Did Celine **** up and change the style number and never updated the site?
I think they genuinely messed up. I researched what you said about the jeans being available on alternative websites and with a different code. Yes, they are pretty lookalike, and I couldn't find any major differences between them apart from a couple where they had some more bold type of thick stitching!

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
