CJ 348 - 9E

JL 7000 - 9.5F

GG KN14 - 10E

EG F82 - 9.5/10

=

Carmina (Simpson) 9

You find you need one half size up in Simpson than JL 7000? I don't. Do you have a wide foot?

I thought I'll add this too. This is from Ethan at The Armoury:

Carmina lasts

Inca - Widest last and waist for wide feet (EE width)
Rain - Like the Inca but with a chisel toe (EE width)
Soller - A boot last like Robert, fits like a double E.
Forest - Standard width with round toe (E width)
Uetam - Similar to Forest but a shade narrower (E width)
Robert - Like the Simpson but more room in the toe box (E width)
Queen - an E width, similar to Alcudia but shorter
Alcudia - Like the Simpson but with Almond toe (E width)
Simpson - Narrow with chiseled toe, extended toe box (E width)

^ Would be good to know, but thus far I've seen very little about the Queens last. Alcudia is my favorite, so if the Queens really is so similar, I might need to consider it next.

I have 9.5E UK in GG lasts
9 UK in CJ 337
43,5 EUR in VASS K & U lasts
would I be a 9 UK in Rain and 9.5 UK in Simpson?

You are pretty much 1 half size bigger than me in GG CJ, but 1 full size bigger than me in Vass. Id say a 9.5UK simpson, but it may be big.

I'm just getting into the shoe game, so all I have to base my size off of is Allen Edmonds, in which I'm a US 10D in the Dalton, which is on the 1-511 last.

Any estimates as to what size I would be in the Carmina Inca last?

Wide forefoot + high instep + narrow heel = which Carmina lasts?
I'm thinking Inca, rain and soller are a starting point because they are listed as the wider lasts but it's hard to find info about instep & heel fit.

I've found the Alcudia and Forest to be very snug and narrow in the lacing area. The Robert definitely has more room in the lacing area, so that might be a decent option for you.

Of those three, Alcudia is narrowest in the heel, while the Forest and Robert could probably be described as having a medium width heel.

Considering the Simpson last is more on the narrow side, would it be advisable to go up half a size to accommodate having a regular width foot?

I would appreciate a recomednation re lasts.

I am a 10D Alden barrie last. It is a wonderful fit, if not a little tight across the vamp at the end of the day.

I have a medium width forefoot and a narrow heel. I also have quite a high instep.

Definitley think the simpson willl be too narrow. What do you all suggest?

EDIT: Whoops just saw KIK's post above - seems to be we have the same question. Appreciate any different responses or maybe KIK and I will share info
