The Guidi 992 is the derby form of the 994 or 995, right?  I find that those size 1 size small, in general, but that they feel really comfortable after a couple of wearings, in any leather.  For reference, I wear a size 45 in all the 995 and 994 I have or have tried on, and wear a size 44 in Margiela GATs and 43 in Common Projects.

Yep, the 992 is a standard lace up derby. To complicate things I have a slightly wide forefoot, which I would hope works well with the very rounded toe box on the Guidi's. 44 in CPs were too narrow in the front for me so sounds like I'd need at least a 44.5 or 46 in the 992. Do you know what size buttero (sneakers) you need? I wear a 44 which is slightly too long but good on width.

I have a bunch of butteros, all size 43, and a size 45 Guidi 994.

Wearing these today. The real color is very close to this but the overhead lights give the shoe more shine than it has.

With m_moria, I don't bother with the color codes/names. I either:

a) point to an existing shoe's color.
b) provide a color (within the available spectrum).

If needed, slight modifications are possible (darker, lighter, more this, less that, etc) as customization is a big aspect of this line.

For my derbies, they were specified to be the same as an existing pair. Here is a pic of them during the coloring process (top right shoe is the one whose color I picked):

Size 42, I read the guys measurement of the outsole wrong, and assumed it would fit me, unfortunately they are too big, which sucks because they are really amazing looking, kinda bummed

Post some pics at least.

Planning to pick up a pair of guidi back zips soon, anyone have a comparison between the soft horse vs the regular full grain horse? Also, any opinions on the slim shaft vs the regular (will likely grab the regular, just a bit curious)?

Appreciate any insight you guys may have
