Did you go true to size or size up? I like the scarred ones you posted earlier better :Dbut these are lovely too!
Do you miss the thicker lace or prefer these thinner ones?

I like both boots.
I'm kinda hoping to smash these up properly so they have a more natural but very beaten up look.
I liked the culatta very much but I also like a clean leather that's properly broken in.
Laces...I'm don't mind either way. Nice change but I liked the thicker laces as well. They wore out/snapped easily after constant regular use though....

My gf thinks my boot collection is nice but she thinks they all look exactly the same. I'm sure I'm not alone here.

Kind of like when my mom said "Why do you need another guitar when you have a perfectly good one sitting right there.

But Maaaaa. You don't understand. This one is green!

Maybe you haven't found a pair that is just right for you, right in a way that you only need that pair and maybe another. I was the same way with backpacks.

Well, I've definitely slowed down. Just waiting on one pair of derbies and I think I'll have most of the bases covered.

My Layer 0 ankle boots (in my avatar) are my go-to's. They work with lots of stuff and they're comfy, too. My dual zips are a close second.

Oh, and I have a lot of backpacks, too. :)

Just accept there's always something better/different out there - and don't be afraid to let go of older stuff, lest you end up like @Abraxis and his museum of baller articles :)
