Anyone ever order from Lakota House in Japan & have shoes shipped to US? How was the experience? Unipair told me they can no longer ship abroad per Alden's rule. I am on the hunt for cordovan Vtip Barrie, Truflare or Modified. Anatomica in Paris would charge a grand so I'm looking elsewhere. Any experience with Lakota House?

Funny my wife generally hates my Alden collection but loves this makeup. I'm sure I could convince her to buy these for me for our 5 year anniversary coming up in a few months, I'm just not sure I can pull off a black boot....

Does the Barrie last add both length and width? For instance, does a Barrie lasted shoe in 9D fit like a 9.5E or 9.5D?

I've only bought from their brick & mortar store in Tokyo, but they were extremely nice and accommodating. Not sure if they can ship to the US.

However, I don't think you're going to do better price-wise than Anatomica. Not sure they'd be able to deduct the 8% tax, either. If I remember correctly, shell boots were over 100,000 yen, about two years ago. Then add tax on top of that.

Reverse chamois? Those look great. I'm waiting on a wingtip reverse chamois boot from brick and mortar. The brass looks great.

Does anyone know how much it would cost around to get commando soles on 405s ? I have the 403Cs that I love and would love to have the commando sole on 405s. Not a fan of the standard sole.
