I asked the Alden SF folks about this and they said it the boot may never be confirmed/made (not sure about the other shops though).

While I'm sure there's some validity to what Alden SF says, I wouldn't put TOO much stock into a competing store's opinion. I'm sure the indy boot won't be confirmed any time soon, but I'm not sure about about never...

Went Ravello LHS for a more casual Friday. I do not dig that sock pairing at all, but it was supposed to match my sport coat. Whatever, just won't do that one again... I am pretty sure this is what Penny Loafers were made to look like! -Mike

Great color on the ptbs. I would love to see a picture of them outdoors and next to another pair for contrast. Congratulations, awesome start to the year.

Keep in mind that Alden SF and Alden DC are company stores and they, in my experience, have their fingers on the pulse of factory happenings more than any other retailers. As an aside, props to Jim at Alden SF for always being a true gentleman to work with.

My new Mitch Rosen holster. Almost a perfect color 8 match to my new AoNY WT Boots. While i am sure it is cow hide, this holster 's finish is very shell like. By that I mean it has the shine and feel of Alden shell.

Thanks all. Ordered them from frans boone, they call it the navy workboot in cigar, though I don't own Indy boots, they do look like them. Was skeptical about the crepe sole, but they are very comfortable out of the box, we'll see how they hold up....

^^ I do believe workboot is the official name for the Indy. I figured they were Frans Boone when I saw the shape. They are beauties. Congrats again.
