Very nice sazon. These boots are becoming one of my favorites. Love the socks!

With the upcoming rain, government falling to pieces, and a little work today... I think the Commando sole Chamois Indy is in order today. (set off by a little stainless steel diamond plate in my shop)
I need these.

I have a collection of about 30 pair of Alden and realized I consistently only wear certain ones so I am slowly thinning
the herd. Of the boots I am keeping, I've decided that I'm going to wear them into the ground, especially my whiskey Indy boots. I now wear them for working
in the yard, trouncing threw the mud, climbing over logs and rocks, etc. (about the only situation I am planning to not wear them in is in deep snow or times when there is a lot of salt on
the ground). However I still clean them off and buff them out each evening and put my shoe trees in them.

I put them through the motions that they were built for but still want to maintain
them.

That is one school of thought, yet another is to ship those 8ds to Louisiana for some extra Christmas cash.

What's a fair price for #8 Cap Toe Boots from Shoemart? In mint condition, look almost new.

Any thoughts on when I should replace the soles on my Alden's? The black rubber portion is looking a bit worn in the back right corner. Wait until they strike leather?
