Yes, I dark welt, though dark brown as Alcibiades describes it. I myself also like it with the Ravello.
And these are relatively new. Been working on breaking them in. The socks are custom tie-dyed by the young relatives. It's become a traditional birthday and Christmas gift from them. I love it.

Cigar boot looking great. Almost looks like a color 8. Must have been a dark batch of cigar.
Some (most) would call us the "more money than brains club"...even though I have no money.
