Would it well if you went down a half size, like barrie? There are a couple of interesting makeups at J Gilbert. Thanks...I have tried them a couple of times and ended up selling them both.....one was a natural CXL loafer and the other was a brown calf loafer....for me the fit was too big when going TTS

So you wear 6.5 E in Barrie boots and 6 E in Barrie shoes?
Your experience seems to be common, though others here stick with the same size.
Got these from my friend @prez in greece, thanks George.

Damn...I had the same story! I got LS Safari boots and I'm also 9D TTS and shipped those back to HI. I loved the boots though...Quote:
This looks like the Safari model on plaza that LS sells. Actually the first Alden I bought, I am TTS 9D and found out the expensive way i need a 9E or 9.5 on plaza. shipping to Hawaii is expensive. Beautiful boot, enjoy!
Not at allFor those of you who wear Alden commando soles, do you feel the heel is elevated/higher than regular double leather soles? The Indy boots look and feel elevated to me, but not sure on the Alden commandos.
