PSA - Alden SF just received an order of Whiskey PTBs in yesterday. Not sure what sizes they have available or if they've all been spoken for, but it might be worth a phone call if you are interested. I was on their wait list and was notified that my pair in 8D had just arrived. Good luck!

NST Color 8 on Barrie?

Does anyone know where to find (if it's possible) the NST, in color 8, on the Barrie last? After a lot of searching it seems very rare (custom makeups in the past or used). There are lots of color 8 on Aberdeen, and black on Barrie, but not the combo I'm seeking.

This is completely off topic (and a X post) but I had to share these with my Alden colleagues. I needed something with a non-leather sole in my rotation and had been lusting after the C&J Islay for a while. They are the first UK made footwear I've purchased, the first non Alden/AE shell footwear I've purchased in a very long while and lastly my first dainite sole. So far I'm liking the sole and absolutely LOVE boot!

Congrats! I'll have to check with them and see if they ever off the same kind of pre-orders that Alden NYC just had for their Cigar and Whiskey LWBs, full payment up front with the choice of any size as long as they have a slot available.

Pretty cool Tanker just rolled into Epaulet NYC. The antique welt and edge goes v well with the contrast stitch.

I like this boot very much. The only thing giving me pause is the Tru-Balance last. I have never seen an NST on it before I don't believe. I wish this were on the Barrie.

I am torn between this boot on the new reverse CXL boondocker Viberg boot that Leffot got in. Touch choice...

Really like that Navy Tanker, too. I wish it was on Barrie.

Ryden, I think I just saw a Trubalance Tanker on Instagram the other day. The stitching for the split just doesn't look right meeting the more squared off toe stitching of the trubalance. IMO.

Those navy ones are tempting. J Crew had a suede version on Tru-Balance a while ago. I think the blobiness of the TB is somewhat masked with the NST.
