Worth the wait, 124060 took me 3 months. Any rare shell has been at least 6 months.

Stainless steel sports models have been hard to get since they updated to the 12 series

Ill be honest, watches have never been my thing so I dont know what the 12 series is. How long has there been a waiting list?

That said, despite not being interested in watches, since I like and follow menswear and alden generally, every algorithm thinks I am DEFINITELY into watches so I get shown them constantly.

5 years or so. I should say my 6 month wait for rare shell was once I placed the deposit. There were a few years of just buying and begging lol.

Copley is definitely a more friendly last, particularly on the instep in my experience!

Ravello LHS’s for me today. Mondays are generally not fun but as I’m getting ready I realized that I’ve only got 12 or so Mondays to retirement. All of a sudden, today didn’t seem so bad.

Morning gents. To piggy back off the loafer discussion, I recently purchased a pair of Crockett and Jones Boston loafer but the left shoe has major heel slip. I had to use a tongue pad with slightly thicker than dress socks and it is okay. My question is, are the Alden LHS slimmer in the heel or bigger?

I can't size down as it would be too cramped

Anyone who owns both chime in?

Looking at a pair of cordovan indys and I see that they come with neo-cork by default. They'd be a winter boot for me, so do you need a cobbler to swap for commando soles or can they be added on top of the neo-cork? What's the cost for something like that?
