Hi all,

I picked up a pair of black calfskin loafers on the Copley last in size 8.5D. They fit and look great but of course instead of placating my loafer itch now I want a pair of the LHS in color 8 cordovan. I'm not quite on the budget to get them new anytime soon so I'm hoping to go the Ebay/SF buy & sell route. I was thinking of just going with another 8.5D but realized that the LHS is on the Van last and have heard cordovan doesn't stretch like calfskin does. So, I was wondering if anyone on the thread has any sizing advice.

Nothing trumps an actual try on but the LHS being on Van last typically requires a 1/2 size down from Brannock (or your true to size).

Hot weather and Tassels. These are from the seconds store and they had a small knick on the tassel lace which I put a tiny bit of super glue on to prevent it from tearing more. Otherwise they’re perfect. I ordered a couple of black shell pairs from the seconds store and the shell was ripped on two different pairs near the tongue so I initiated a return, so you win some you lose some.

Wish list: dark brown unlined suede LHS, Ravello LHS, rare shell tassel.
