They were from Alden Madison. Maybe 2021 if I recall.

I recommend Alden model #404 Kudu Indy Boot.

Is it the original sole? I had heard that company went out of business, perhaps not and that would be good.

A great choice and I also considered a reverse chamois. In the end I went with the AoC 105 with the all-terrain sole. I got these 1/2 size large to accommodate a foam insole and thicker socks for additional warmth.

Weird fuzzy growth on the mailbox this morning.




I went with RTC Indy shoes. They were good enough.

I mainly worry about maintaining my footing on loose crystals of NaCl.
