Second make-up from Ealdwine are these Loden Suede "Old Ivy" LWB which are quite possibly the most striking suede shoes in my collection next to my AE Burgundy Suede Hamiltons. The antique 360 reverse welt with white welt stitches have completely transformed this pair into a unique SMU style run! Double leather soles round out this Barrie lasted beauty!

The blind eyelets look great, but maybe brass hardware (or dull gold) would've really popped with this shoe. Again, conflicted on whether I will use contrasting laces or keep the stock ones. I predict these will get plenty of compliments from onlookers!

Third, and final, recent pick-up was from this weekend's Trunk Show at Brogue. Shop was full of people and was honored to have met @Calvin as in CALVIN in person! Great guy and wonderful chatting about shoes and footwear.

Mack had two recent deliveries from Alden (both handsewn boots) so had to check those out. Left with one of them! These brown CXL NST "Edmundo" tanker boots on Copley last with tonal eyes/hooks and commando soles. The 360 reverse welt and Indy quarter stitch give it a nice clean look! First time I tried on Copley and opted for my Brannock 9D. Initially was suggested to try 8.5D and it fit really well, but the 9D won me over as it was a little more spacious and I know I can wear Chup socks with them.

Wish I took photos of the event, but a good time was had catching up with Alden's Steve Reinhart and Mack.

Blue suede splits are incredible @Hisheirness23 but the LWB’s will send me hunting on the Ealdwine site after work. Those are next level. Nice pic’s. Congrats!

Edit - crap! Forgot you and I are the same size. No luck. Man those are nice.
