I think they already went OOB. Seems like they still have old prices and hasn't been updated in months.

The person that told me said they were in the store over the weekend. As long as you use a credit card you should be good, but never say never.

The difference is slightly more apparent in person, but they are surprisingly similar. I’ll have to get a pic with my Ravello and color 4 loafers.

I got the email for the whiskey wingtip boot as well and passed immediately since I don’t think whiskey for that style is a particularly good match.

$1k+ though is just a big stretch though regardless of rare shell. I have a pair of color 4 boots coming that I was quoted $1k for but until I see what shade of color 4 I’m debating wether or not I keep it.

It's a little more comforting to know I wasn't the only one who passed. Had it been Ravello, it would be a different story. I'm sure I'll inevatibly deeply regret it once they're in the wild, but so it goes...

It’s funny how when I started collecting I really wanted the rare shell.. now I’ve passed on more rare shell in the last few years than I can count. Just hasn’t been the right make up for me really though. Truthfully, black and color 8 are the best hands down and I’ve only learned that in the last couple years 😂
