The Shoe Mart did one in June of 22 (order has not been delivered yet).

They originally said 4-6 months and it’s been 8!

You got a really fantastic collection! May I ask some size suggestions about Van Last? Never tried this last while familiar with Barrie, Trubalance and Grant Lasts.

Van seems to be tricky and historically I went up 1/2 in width over Barrie. For me, that was a mistake. I now size the same as Barrie/TB and with normal socks, it’s a perfect fit.

Alden calls it Old Bronze. It is a unique color and the way it changes based on the lighting is sublime. Unfortunately I think it was a one-off for Horween/Alden and will not likely be offered again for the foreseeable future.

Seems to be that I always want to wear the footwear that’s unavailable and today was no exception. Perfect weather day in the Burg for unlined but alas, my LHS’s are with Aram for repairs. However, after scanning the closet I realized I completely forgot about these unlined Dovers (as the amount of bloom will attest to)………

Wipe and brush and they are on feet today……..

Thanks! I went up a half size from barrie/trubalance (10D). I may not be the best example though because I’m a 10E brannock and the barrie last fits me perfectly. I found the 10D van last to be a bit snug across the instep/strap and going up a half size solved that problem. I’ve found that lined shell has a pinch more volume than unlined shell. Unlined suede fits me well even after some stretching.
