I always wear loafers for a Dermo appointment, for some reason they always want me to strip and loafers are easier to get off/on for me.

Oh yeah? I get that too at the Ophthalmologist - I always have to tell them, ‘Hey, my eyes are up here’.

hi Alden experts,

does anyone run an unlined color 8 shoe on modified last? or is unlined modified not a thing? i checked the usual suspects moulded shoe and anatomica but couldnt find anything. i feel like ive seen an unlined modified boot tho.

yes, anatomica does unlined modified shell boots. look for model # 1120 (plain toe), 1128 (cap toe), 11206F (mocc toe), 11289 (perf cap toe).

the boots are unlined in the ankle/heel area, and lined in the front. they also have a gusseted calfskin tongue, which is very unusual for Alden.

very cool boots. Alden will only make them on modified.

Happy Friday! Good old Color 8 PTBs. These are 4-5 years old and were sun faded for a bit, hence the tiger stripe(s).
