A good Sunday to you! A very special maiden voyage of some new to me Alden x J Crew blue suede boots. They are killer looking; according to the numbers in the boot, they were made in 2013 and I haven't seen them much online. Anyone else have these boots?

Paired with some nice salmon colored pants that got washed out by the sun in the photo. Spring has sprung here!

Call them. Surely they can check the various stores for a pair in your size. Sounds like you need to figure out your size still. Maybe it’ll be easy for you. You may also find a pair on eBay - maybe even a new one. Do you have an idea what size you might be?

Well, I wear a 10.5 EE in the Allen Edmonds 5 last, so I guess I'd start there.

I did call BB directly yesterday. I got the typical, "Well, whatever we have available is what's on the website, so if you don't see it there we probably don't have it." When I asked the lady helping me to check any stores, she said she couldn't see any at any stores.

I called many BB stores directly last week looking for the LHS in burgundy. Several reps at several stores independently told me that they could see the inventory system wide in all stores and in the warehouse and there were no LHS left in my size. The salesperson at the Washington DC store also told me that all stores were instructed to send all of the Alden for BB cordovans back to the main warehouse so they could be sold online and to check back on the website in a few days for possibly new listings. These never materialized and the price of the remaining Aldens are back up to full price. Luckily, I was able to purchase 3 other cordovan Alden loafers at the sale price. Importantly, several reps at the stores told me even if my size was in stock at their location, I would have to go there in person to buy as company policy would not allow a credit card transaction over the phone due to prior fraud issues.

Thanks for the info. Dumb question - are there actually shows on the website that are made by Alden? Just wondering because when I pull up shoes on the website, I don't see anything that says "by Alden" or anything like that. Are they Brooks Brothers branded only? And I thought all Alden shoes had been pulled from BB?
